Software selection
Software can be surprisingly expensive. But often there are some great free (and legal) alternatives available to anything from Microsoft Office to Norton Antivirus. Whatever your requirement I can help you select the best application for your needs.
If you are considering an upgrade either of your operating system (from XP to Vista), or perhaps to a newer version of Microsoft Office, then seek some advise first. The newer versions can be a drain on system resources, and surprisingly different to use (requiring a steep learning curve).
And if you really do like the look of Vista, or just want a refreshingly new look to your PC, I can modify XP to make it look very like Vista without the need to experience the pain of a full upgrade.
If buying a new PC, then again take care in the selection of software that you buy with it. Because of the problems that third party software developers have experienced with Vista, Microsoft are still allowing hardware vendors to ship with XP.
